Law enforcers are searching for individuals who may have witnessed a robbery incident that occurred at a kindergarten in Jeversen.
In the quiet town of Jeversen, a crime has shaken the local community. On the evening of September 1, 2025, an open gate was discovered at a nursery on Dannebergsfeld Street, leading to the theft of several machines, equipment, and multiple work vehicles, with a total value of approximately 50,000 euros.
The Celle Police Station, located in the town of Celle, is leading the investigation. Ulrike Trumtrar, the contact person at the station, can be reached via email at [email protected] or by telephone at 05141 277-104.
The police believe that there were multiple perpetrators involved in the crime. It is assumed that the unknown individuals gained access to the property and a shed there the previous day, on August 31, in the afternoon, to prepare for the theft. The police are still investigating what stopped the perpetrators from transporting the stolen goods away.
Witnesses who observed anything suspicious in the area on August 31 or September 1, 2025, are asked to contact the police in Celle at 05141-2770. It is believed that the perpetrators of the theft were presumably staying in a nearby abandoned building before the crime on September 1.
The stolen goods were found during a search of the area around the nursery. Remarkably, they were discovered on a forest path in the "Wieckenberger Weg" street. The details of how they were found are not specified. The police are currently investigating what stopped the perpetrators from transporting the stolen goods away.
As the investigation continues, the community remains on high alert. The police urge anyone with information to come forward and help bring those responsible to justice. The quiet town of Jeversen hopes for a swift resolution to this unsettling incident.
