Lawsuit Over Sexual Misconduct Accusations Against Skip Bayless by a Hairstylist has been Settled by Fox

Fox Sports has reached a settlement in a lawsuit brought by hairstylist Noushin Faraji, who accused the network of a toxic culture, bad faith promises, and repeated failures to address a poisonous and entrenched patriarchy.

Noushin Faraji's lawyers are proceeding with a prospective class action over failure to pay minimum wage on behalf of other workers. In addition to this, Faraji had previously accused Fox Sports executive Charlie Dixon of groping her at a 2017 birthday party for Joy Taylor, the host who replaced Marcellus Wiley on the show Speak for Yourself in 2022.

John Ly, a lawyer for Faraji, stated that Faraji did not disclose to human resources or the legal department that a third-party production company had hired her wife as a temporary freelancer. The lawsuit also included claims for sexual battery, hostile work environment, and retaliation, among others.

In a separate lawsuit, Julie Stewart-Binks claimed Dixon in 2016 pushed her against a wall and forcibly kissed her. Fox Sports will make no further comment on the settlement, but has stated that they are pleased that the matter has been resolved.

The lawsuit accused Fox Sports talk show host Skip Bayless and network executive Charlie Dixon of making unwanted sexual advances. Bayless, Dixon, and Taylor are no longer with Fox. Bayless left the network after his show was cancelled in 2024, around the time the show saw a dip in ratings due to the departure of co-host Shannon Sharpe.

Emmanuel Acho, ex-Speak for Yourself host, was allegedly engaged in a relationship with Joy Taylor, according to the complaint. Taylor, according to the complaint, curried favor with Charlie Dixon by allegedly engaging in sexual favors and dismissed Noushin Faraji's concerns of sexual harassment.

However, in a recent development, Faraji has moved to dismiss claims for sexual battery, hostile work environment, and retaliation, among others. Lawyers for Faraji will continue pursuing claims alleging that Fox engaged in fraudulent business practices by failing to pay minimum wages, reimburse business expenses, and pay severance to other employees.

The search results do not provide specific names of currently active individuals at Fox Sports; therefore, no verifiable information about which persons are still actively working at Fox Sports is available from the provided data. Fox Sports has not disclosed the terms of the settlement. Charlie Dixon, FS1's executive producer of content, separated from Fox due to reasons other than Noushin Faraji's lawsuit, according to the network.

Marcellus Wiley, former co-host of FS1's Speak for Yourself, considered suing the company for conspiring to replace him with Joy Taylor, but no lawsuit was filed. The settlement marks a significant step towards addressing the allegations of a toxic culture at Fox Sports and ensuring a safer work environment for all employees.
