In an exciting clash of the top tier, SpVgg Trossingen secured a 4-2 win over promoted Laufen. The victory propelled Trossingen to the lead, with Laufen left to rue missed opportunities.

The game began with Laufen showing promising signs, creating a chance just five minutes in, only for it to be missed. Trossingen capitalised on this lapse, scoring the opening goal minutes later.

Trossingen extended their lead before halftime, with Laufen's coach, Axel Conzelmann, admitting it was a missed opportunity for his team. An own goal before the break gave Kolbingen a 1-0 lead over DeiรŸlingen/Lauffen, allowing Trossingen to take the lead in the standings.

John Mueller, Trossingen's coach, acknowledged the hard-fought nature of the victory, but noted that they need to work on finishing games earlier. Laufen came close to equalising at 3-3, but Aykut Tuฬˆtuฬˆneken sealed the win for Trossingen.

Meanwhile, SV Wurmlingen achieved their first win of the season, defeating FV Rot-Weiss Ebingen 4-2 away. Tom Schmid, who is both the player-coach of SV Wurmlingen and the architect of their victory, believed the win was deserved despite the close scoreline.

However, SV Wurmlingen's initial 2-0 lead slipped away as they failed to extend it, allowing Ebingen back into the game. Despite this, SV Wurmlingen picked up their first points of the season, a relief for the team who had been searching for their first victory.

Elsewhere, SV Kolbingen claimed a 2-1 victory over SV Bubsheim in the Heuberg derby. Paul Ratke, Bubsheim's player-coach, conceded that the win was "dirty", while Benjamin Raidt, Kolbingen's coach, felt a point would have been deserved due to missed chances.

Unfortunately for FV Rot-Weiss Ebingen, they remain without points in the league, continuing their struggle for form. As the season progresses, it remains to be seen if they can turn their fortunes around.
