LeddarTech Presents Advanced ADAS Innovation: Launching LeddarNavigator in Partnership with Ficosa at Autosens Europe 2024 from October 8-10, 2024
In a significant move towards advancing automotive safety and autonomous driving, LeddarTech Holdings Inc. and Renesas Electronics Corporation have joined forces to develop and present the LeddarNavigator system for ADAS applications. This groundbreaking collaboration will be showcased at Autosens Europe 2024, taking place in Barcelona, Spain from October 8-10, 2024.
The LeddarNavigator is a state-of-the-art demonstration vehicle equipped with the LeddarVision AI-based low-level sensor fusion and perception family of automotive software products. It integrates LeddarTech's advanced LeddarVision software with Ficosa's surround-view camera system, along with other sensors, to provide a comprehensive solution for premium surround-view and highway assist applications.
One of the key components of the LeddarNavigator is LVS-2 (LeddarVision Surround-View), a fusion and perception software solution designed to elevate ADAS capabilities. LVS-2 utilises a streamlined sensor setup of a single front camera and two short-range corner radars, combined with Texas Instruments' TDA4VE processor.
In addition, the LeddarNavigator also features LVF-E (LeddarVision Front Entry), an innovative front-view fusion and perception stack supporting highway assist ADAS.
The collaboration between LeddarTech and Renesas Electronics Corporation aims to empower car manufacturers to deliver an enhanced driving experience while advancing the development of autonomous vehicles. The demonstrations target the stringent 5-star NCAP 2025/GSR 2022 safety standards and highway assist.
