A shocking first information report (FIR) has been submitted to the court of Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (ACMM) Ziadur Rahman today, accusing Sheikh Hasina, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh, and 13 other individuals of a conspiracy to kill National Democratic Movement (NDM) Chairman Bobby Hajjaj.

The FIR, filed by Jabedur Rahman Jony, office secretary of the NDM, on behalf of Bobby Hajjaj, alleges that the accused have been hatching a conspiracy against anti-fascist leaders, including NDM Chairman Bobby Hajjaj and other front-ranking warriors who fought against Sheikh Hasina's government for a long time.

According to the FIR, Sheikh Hasina and Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury made derogatory comments against Bobby Hajjaj through Facebook. The businessman Saiful Alam is accused of providing funds for the conspiracy to kill Bobby Hajjaj, with the FIR stating that he has invested huge money to carry out this plan.

The guards of Bobby Hajjaj's house caught accused Md Nur, who later confessed to the plot against Bobby Hajjaj. The FIR alleges that Nur confessed that Sheikh Hasina directly instructed Mostafa Al Nafiz to kill Bobby Hajjaj by stabbing or throwing bombs to his car at any convenient time.

Mostafa Al Nafiz and Md Nur entered into the Gulshan residence of Bobby Hajjaj on 6 September with the intention to kill him. The other accused in the case are Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, Obaidul Quader, Mohibul Hassan Chowdhury, Jahangir Kabir Nanok, Mohammad A Arafat, Safiul Alam, Siddiqui Nazmul Alam, Reaz Mahmud, Mostafa Al Nafiz, Sagor Ahmed, Md Nur, and an Awami League (AL) worker Shamim.

Bobby Hajjaj has been demanding the trial of Sheikh Hasina on the street movement and television talk shows since the fall of Awami League government. Last year, he filed a case with the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT)-1 demanding trial of AL and its 14-party alliance leaders.

The court instructed the officer-in-charge of Gulshan Police Station to submit a report on this issue on 9 October. However, the search results do not contain information about which organization or institution filed charges against Sheikh Hasina and the 13 other accused or when the trial will begin.

This latest development in the ongoing saga between Bobby Hajjaj and Sheikh Hasina is sure to stir up further controversy and debate in Bangladeshi politics.
