Last Friday, June 22nd, the Green List faction organised a neighborhood walk in the Dillweißenstein district. Around 30 citizens, including Petra Bösl (deputy chairman of the citizens' association), Susanne Wendlberger (youth welfare committee), Ute Becker (director of the evangelical kindergarten Huchenfelder Straße), Axel Baumbusch (spokesman of the Green List), and Emre Nazli (councilor), attended the event.

The walk started at the Ludwigsplatz, with discussions centering around several key issues. One of the main topics was the potential renovation of the evangelical church's kindergartens. The Green List has expressed its intention to actively support the kindergartens and has asked the city building company to check if it could acquire and renovate one of the kindergarten buildings.

The possible closure of the two kindergartens on site could exacerbate existing problems, and a family or community center is desired in Dillweißenstein for all generations, including newcomers. The Green List believes that such a center could serve as a meeting place for all age groups in the community. However, the search results do not provide information about which group has tried in the past to establish such a center in Dillweißenstein.

Another concern raised during the walk was the cleanliness of paths and seating facilities at the Nagold. The Green List advocates for maintaining the unanimously supported Nagold outdoor pool and improving these facilities for the benefit of the community.

Vacancies and heavy traffic on the Hirsauer Straße are a significant burden in the area. The Green List suggests a redevelopment area in Dillweißenstein after the north of the city's redevelopment.

Participants of the neighborhood walk expressed incomprehension and astonishment about the city's communication regarding future refugee accommodation development to the citizens of Dillweißenstein. The Green List wants to urge the city to improve communication in this area. No new facts about the kindergartens or refugee accommodation development were mentioned in this paragraph.

The Green List also intends to ask the administration for the survey results conducted to gauge resident engagement for refugees and recognized refugees in Dillweißenstein. The results of this survey are not yet known.

In addition, the Green List is considering the possibility of a combination ticket for Nagold bath admission and bus ticket. They also want to investigate the possibility of setting up an ATM in Weißenstein, as the provision of public services, such as an ATM, is a concern in Weißenstein.

Lastly, the Green List advocates for a decentralized local supplier, aiming to improve the quality of life for the citizens of Dillweißenstein.
