The Duleep Trophy 2025 quarter-final match between Central Zone and North East Zone is set to continue on Day 4 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru. The match, which will start at 9:30 AM IST, will not be televised in India but can be live-streamed on the JioHotstar app and website.
Central Zone, currently leading by an unassailable lead, appears to have the upper hand going into Day 4. They ended Day 3 with a formidable score of 331/6, setting a target of 678 runs for North East Zone.
In the second innings, key contributions came from captain Rajat Patidar (66 off 72 balls) and Yash Rathod (78 off 83 balls). Shubham Sharma also shone with a magnificent ton, finishing at 122 off 215 deliveries.
North East Zone, however, struggled in the first innings, being dismissed for 185, trailing by 364 runs. Akash Choudhary took a total of four wickets in the match for North East Zone, including dismissing Harsh Dubey, leaving Central Zone at 48/3.
If Central Zone wins on Day 4, they are likely to face South Zone in the semi-final of the Duleep Trophy 2025. However, North East Zone will need a miraculous comeback to change the course of the match.
