Live from Lord's: Delayed commencement, team updates, score report, and strategies to follow England versus South Africa's second ODI match

England and South Africa are all set to lock horns in the second One-Day International (ODI) of their series at Lord's on Thursday, September 4. The match was scheduled to start at 1pm, but action at Lords has been delayed due to bad weather.

The home team, England, won the toss and decided to field. The match officials for the game are Mike Burns, Sharfuddoula Saikat, Nitin Menon, Javagal Srinath, and Russell Warren.

England's playing XI includes Ben Duckett, Jamie Smith, Joe Root, Harry Brook (c), Jos Buttler (wk), Jacob Bethell, Will Jacks, Brydon Carse, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, and Saqib Mahmood.

South Africa, on the other hand, will be led by Temba Bavuma. Their team consists of Aiden Markram, Ryan Rickelton (wk), Bavuma, Matthew Breetzke, Tristan Stubbs, Dewald Brevis, Corbin Bosch, Senuran Muthusamy, Keshav Maharaj, Nandre Burger, and Lungi Ngidi.

Following the first ODI, Harry Brook and Temba Bavuma spoke to the media. Brook expressed disappointment about the team's performance, while Bavuma praised South Africa's clinical bowling. The second ODI is part of a series of three One-Day Internationals.
