Local Marseilles Lions Club presents check worth $3,500 to Marseilles mayor
In a joint effort to enhance the local community, Infra-Metals and the Marseilles Lions Club have made significant contributions towards the renovation of Broadway Park.
The Marseilles Lions Club, demonstrating their commitment to the project, presented a check for $3,500 to Mayor Jim Hollenbeck. This contribution is part of a $7,000 pledge made by the club, with the first part yet to be specified. The club's president Ralph Rowe and first vice president Jim Hanlon presented the check.
Simultaneously, Infra-Metals has made a separate contribution towards the renovation. The company has given a gift of $10,000, bringing the total funds for the project to $10,500 from two sources. This generous contribution from Infra-Metals is not part of a pledge, unlike the Marseilles Lions Club's commitment.
The funds from both sources will be used to cover various aspects of the renovation, including the construction of a pavilion. However, the exact purpose of the pavilion in the renovated Broadway Park remains unspecified.
With these contributions, Broadway Park is set to receive funds from multiple sources, ensuring a comprehensive renovation. As of now, there is no information available about any other organization donating to the pavilion in the renovated Broadway Park.
The renovated Broadway Park promises to be a vibrant hub for the community, offering a space for gatherings and recreation. The project, funded by various contributions, including this one from the Marseilles Lions Club and Infra-Metals, is a testament to the power of community collaboration.
