Local Streamer Jordan Banfield Wins WSOP-C Black Chip Bounty for $120K

Local streamer Jordan Banfield made headlines in January, winning a prestigious poker event and taking home nearly $120,000 in combined prizes. The victory came after Banfield outplayed 363 other entries in the one-day game.

The event, known as the Black Chip Bounty, took place during the World Series of Poker Circuit (WSOP-C) in Calgary, October 2025. The buy-in was set at $400, with $230 allocated for prizes and a flat $100 bounty on each player. The tournament began at 11 am, allowing entries until the start of Level 10, around 3:15 PM. A 45-minute dinner break was scheduled after Level 14, approximately at 5:35 PM. If necessary, a second day was planned to conclude the event, as decided by casino staff.
