Luxurious Aquila 50 Yacht Unveils New Design and Innovative Direction
The Chinese-American powercat specialist, Aquila, has introduced a new yacht called the Aquila 50 Yacht, which is set to join the company's fleet. Meanwhile, the Frauscher 1414 Demon has been making waves at the 2023 Boot Duesseldorf Boat Show. Let's take a closer look at these two impressive vessels.
Aquila 50 Yacht: A Bright and Spacious Powercat
The Aquila 50 Yacht is designed to replace the outgoing Aquila 48 and will sit below the Aquila 54 in the Aquila fleet as the second largest powercat. It boasts an alternative layout that offers four cabins, four bathrooms, and optional captain's quarters, making it a favourable choice for the charter market.
The yacht is powered by twin Volvo Penta D6 480s, giving it a top speed of 22 knots. While the price is yet to be announced, it is clear that the Aquila 50 Yacht is a significant addition to the Aquila fleet.
One of the standout features of the new Aquila 50 Yacht is its external design. Deeper hull windows compared to other models in the Aquila fleet should result in a brightly lit owner's cabin. Additionally, a pronounced elevation in the forward gunwale line creates extra volume for the full-beam owner's cabin.
Interestingly, the Aquila 50 Yacht is being designed with hybrid propulsion in mind, hinting at a more eco-friendly future for this powercat.
Frauscher 1414 Demon: A Versatile Luxury Boat
The Frauscher 1414 Demon, on the other hand, offers a unique flybridge setup. It features a central helm, a starboard wet bar, a port dinette, and a sun lounger, providing ample space for relaxation and entertainment.
The main deck of the Frauscher 1414 Demon features a beamy aft cockpit and an L-shaped aft galley. The forward part of the saloon is a big port dinette opposite an inward-facing starboard settee.
The boat also has three stairwells on the main deck, leading to the lower deck. The flybridge can be reached from the aft cockpit or via a screen-mounted staircase from the bow deck. It can also be equipped with a hardtop designed for a large solar array.
The standard layout of the Frauscher 1414 Demon provides three cabins and three heads compartments, making it a comfortable choice for shorter trips or weekend getaways.
As of now, there is no information available regarding the official market launch date of the new Aquila 50 yacht. However, both the Aquila 50 Yacht and the Frauscher 1414 Demon promise to be exciting additions to their respective fleets, catering to diverse needs and preferences in the world of luxury boating.
