The table football was signed during a ceremony at the Volksstadion in Greifswald, where Kroos was awarded the Order of Merit of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern. The ceremony was attended by Minister-President Manuela Schwesig, Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder, and young football enthusiast Maja.

The new owner of the table football is Heidi Moritz, the senior manager of Hotel Seebruecke in Lubmin. The hotel, which has a history with the Kroos family, will use the proceeds from the auction to benefit youth sports in Greifswald. Specific youth sports clubs supported have not been named, but the funds will be used to support training camps and sports equipment for children from low-income families.

Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder expressed his satisfaction with the auction result, stating that the funds will make a significant difference in the lives of many young athletes in the city. Heidi Moritz, who has known Toni Kroos and his brother Felix since their childhood, expressed her delight at being able to support youth sports in Greifswald in this way.

Interestingly, Toni Kroos and his family celebrated the grandfather's 90th birthday at Hotel Seebruecke in Lubmin earlier this year. It seems that the hotel's support for youth sports in Greifswald is not a new development, but a continuation of a long-standing relationship with the Kroos family.

The auction proceeds will be given to the city sports association in Greifswald, and Mayor Dr. Stefan Fassbinder will present the table football to the association in September. This gesture is a testament to the power of sport in bringing communities together and inspiring future generations.
