Premier Padel P1 of Madrid 2025 Kicks Off

The Premier Padel P1 of Madrid 2025, the seventh P1 category tournament of the year, is underway at the Movistar Arena. This is the third and last P1 of the year in Spanish territory and marks the return of the circuit after the summer break.

The tournament, which is the fifteenth of the current season, saw the start of both the men's and women's draws on Monday, September 2. The first round of the men's draw will pit Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello against Martín Di Nenno and Franco Stupaczuk, while Paula Josemaría/Ari Sánchez and Gemma Triay/Delfi Brea, as well as Bea González/Claudia Fernández, will debut directly in the quarterfinals for the 2025 tournament.

The quarterfinals for the women's draw will take place on Thursday, September 4, starting at 9:00 am, and for the men's draw on Friday, September 5, starting at 12:00 pm. The semifinals for the men's draw will take place on Saturday, September 6, while the details for the women's semifinals are yet to be specified.

Agustín Tapia and Arturo Coello are the pair to beat in the tournament, having won the last two editions of the Premier Padel P1 of Madrid. The final for the men's draw will take place on Sunday, September 7, starting at 4:00 pm. The final for the women's draw has not been specified yet.

The finals will bring together only the 16 best male and female pairs of the course. The event can be watched for free on the Premier Padel YouTube channel and Red Bull TV from the quarterfinals onwards. The Premier Padel P1 of Madrid 2025 will be broadcast on Movistar Plus from the quarterfinals onwards, with the quarterfinals on M+ Deportes and the final on M+ Vamos.

In the 2024 women's draw of the Premier Padel P1 of Madrid, the winning pair was Gemma Triay and Claudia Fernández. The Qatar Airways Premier Padel Finals of Barcelona will take place in December 2025.
