Magnetic Skies are back, releasing their latest synthpop track titled 'Back To Life'; now available for listening.
In November 2025, UK synthpop collective Magnetic Skies will embark on a tour across the country. The tour, which includes shows in Birmingham, London, Southampton, and Glasgow, is a highly-anticipated event for fans of the band.
Magnetic Skies, founded in 2019 by Simon Kent and Jo Womar, is a studio-based project that draws inspiration from the 1980s synthpop and post-punk genres. The band's unique sound is characterized by a blend of nostalgic synth textures and modern darkwave elements.
The tour comes in support of the band's latest single, "Back To Life," which was released earlier this year. Vocalist Simon Kent explains that thematically, "Back To Life" is about sensing chaos, feeling the void, and holding onto hope. The single, available on all major streaming platforms, has been well-received by critics and fans alike.
"Back To Life" follows the band's 2023 debut album "Empire Falling" and the Spring single "A Place on Earth." Most of the production for "Empire Falling" was handled in-house by Kent, with additional mixing by Rob Aubrey.
The UK tour kicks off on 5 November at The Victoria in Birmingham, followed by shows at The Grace in London on 6 November, The Hug & Pint in Glasgow on 19 November, and Heartbreakers in Southampton on 12 November.
Magnetic Skies' UK tour is a testament to the band's enduring appeal and their commitment to creating music that resonates with their audience. Be sure to catch them on tour this November and experience their captivating live performance.
