Major highway incident near Oberhausen - Severe collision results in critical injuries - Road accident response crew and air rescue service active

Unfortunately, the small truck involved in the accident was thrown across the median barrier and became trapped there. The passenger of the small truck sustained life-threatening injuries, while the driver and two other individuals involved in the accident sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the truck from Selm involved in the accident could not be identified from the search results.
Due to the accident, the A3 highway towards Cologne is expected to remain closed for the accident investigation until midday. Ongoing traffic congestion is expected due to the closed highway.
