Mango alters its structure to boost performance

Mango, the popular Spanish fashion retailer, has announced changes to its executive team in a bid to address its evolving results.

The company's former creative director and board member, Damian Sánchez, has departed. Taking over the creative helm is Francisco Bonet, who will not join the management board.

In the management board, Enric Casi, Nicolás Oliva, and Nahman Andic continue to serve, with Casi leading the economic and financial areas, auditing, and internal control. However, Casi has relinquished control of the IT systems department, a new board member now taking charge.

Nicolás Oliva, previously responsible for store management, will now head the IT systems and construction department. His mandate at Mango is to boost the company's activity through iPads and smartphones.

Daniel López, who has been with Mango for some time, has taken over the store division. He also continues to be in charge of the company's expansion, a role he will carry out alongside his duties in the stores and expansion division.

Isak Halfon is now in charge of franchises and expansion at Mango, while Isak Andic has returned to daily management at the company.

The changes come as Mango's results have been affected by a decline in consumption. Despite this, the company's sales increased by 10.83% in 2010, reaching €1.269 billion. The company ended the year with a 31.65% reduction in its net result, amounting to €101.16 million.

Despite speculation, the board of the Mango company has not been taken over by anyone new. The only relevant detail about Mango Markets relates to a 2022 market manipulation case by Avraham Eisenberg, not a board takeover.

Salvador Vallès is responsible for the product department at Mango, ensuring the company continues to offer stylish and affordable clothing to its customers.

These changes aim to position Mango for future success, adapting to the ever-changing retail landscape and consumer demands.
