"Manhattan to experience two immersive pop-ups as 'The Paper' marks its premiere on Peacock"
New York City is set to host two exciting pop-up events as part of the launch of "The Paper" series, created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman. The events, dubbed "The Paper" Newsstand NYC Takeover, presented by Peacock, will take place at two iconic locations: Rockefeller Center (50 Rockefeller Plaza) and Flatiron Plaza (23rd & Broadway) on Sept. 9.
The series, "The Paper," is a compelling narrative that follows a documentary crew as they revive a Midwestern paper. One of the key inspirations for these pop-up events is The Toledo Truth Teller, a fictional Midwestern paper featured in "The Paper."
At these events, guests will have the opportunity to visit Toledo Truth Teller pop-up newsstands, enjoy complimentary bagels, and take photos with the "Tower of Truth" installation. Actor Oscar Nunñez, who played Oscar Martinez in "The Office," will be present at the events, reprising his role in the Peacock series "The Paper."
All ten episodes of "The Paper" are now available for streaming on Peacock, allowing viewers to catch up on the series before the events. Admission to the events is free, making it an accessible experience for all.
So, whether you're a fan of "The Office" or eager to delve into a new series, mark your calendars for Sept. 9 and join in the "The Paper" Newsstand NYC Takeover. It's a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of "The Paper" and meet one of its beloved characters. Don't miss out!
