Maryland's Live! Casino & Hotel, along with its associates, announce distribution of $19 million in community funding grants
Anne Arundel County Receives Over $19 Million in Community Grants
In a significant move to support local community organizations, The Cordish Companies, Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland, and the Anne Arundel County Local Development Council (LDC) have awarded over $19 million in local impact and community grants for Fiscal Year 2026.
These grants, a combination of funds from the three entities, have been instrumental in funding operational and capital programs across Anne Arundel County. Recipients of these grants include a diverse range of community organizations, such as the Chesapeake Arts Center, My Life Foundation, Anne Arundel County Community Action Agency, and many more.
The Severn Center is one example of a community project that has benefited from Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland's community grants. Now serving as a home for the local Boys & Girls Club and a Senior Activity Center, the Severn Center is a testament to the positive impact these grants have on the development of community infrastructure.
The funding announcement was made during the annual grantee award ceremony and luncheon held at Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland's Event Center. Over the past 13 years, Anne Arundel County has allocated more than $387 million from gaming tax revenue to various programs, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations. The grants from Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland are one of the ways this revenue is being utilized for the betterment of Anne Arundel County.

The grants awarded in Fiscal Year 2026 total over $19 million, a significant investment in the community. The Parkside Homeowners Association, The Enclave at Arundel Preserve, Waterbury Forest Homeowners Association, Ridge Forest Homeowners Association, and the Anne Arundel Conflict Resolution Center are some of the other recipients of these grants.
