F1 Box Opens at Westfield Stratford City, Offering Immersive Racing Experience

F1 Arcade has unveiled its latest immersive racing simulator experience, F1 Box, at Westfield Stratford City shopping centre in East London. The attraction, which is set to open on August 22, promises a thrilling and immersive experience for all racing enthusiasts.

The F1 Box features an LED wall, reactive LED lighting on the racing simulators, and floor-to-ceiling arches for a dramatic edge. The space is powered by Disguise, a technology solutions provider, which controls the simulators and environment with its software and hardware.

Alexandra Coulson, VP of marketing at Disguise, expressed her excitement about the project, stating that F1 Box offers full immersion from all angles, with perfectly synced LED visuals, dramatic lighting, and thundering audio.

Disguise's creative services team used Designer's data integration in Notch to pull racing data directly from the simulators in real-time. Key moments in the experience include strobe lighting pulsing to the sound of a heartbeat and a starting grid countdown to build excitement.

Players compete in two 20-minute back-to-back races and can view real-time leaderboard content developed by Disguise. The dynamic leaderboard displays instant results with each competitor's name and finish time on various LED displays.

On site, Disguise's team programmed the space with synchronised LED visuals, atmospheric lighting, and immersive audio. A Disguise EX 3+ media server powers the F1 Box space, offering content flexibility for synchronizing lighting, audio, and visual elements 11 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Adam Breeden, CEO at F1 Arcade, expressed his excitement about collaborating with Disguise's team to create a perfectly detailed, synchronised immersive experience that simulates an F1 grand prix.

To book slots for F1 Box, visitors can head to Westfield Stratford City from August 22. Online booking is also available, and some walk-ins will be accepted. With its immersive racing experience, F1 Box is set to be a must-visit attraction for racing fans in London.
