Massive Fire Erupts Along the Historical Post Road of Gronau - Initial Report from FW Gronau
In the industrial area on Old Post Road in Gronau, a fire broke out on Sunday. The Gronau fire department, along with volunteer firefighters from surrounding areas, quickly responded to the scene.
Upon arrival, a dark cloud of smoke was visible, prompting an immediate full alarm for the entire Gronau fire department. The fire was caused by several containers filled with plastic waste.
To ensure public safety, a warning was issued via the NINA warning app to keep doors and windows closed due to heavy smoke development. The area around Old Post Road/Jöbkesweg remains closed as mop-up operations are currently underway.
