Matte black Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship makes its debut in the LEGO Ideas collection

The LEGO Group has made a splash in the world of pirate-themed sets with the announcement of their latest creation - Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship. This impressive set, set to be available on September 15 for $380, overshadows previous pirate ship LEGO sets with its intimidating dark-skinned sails and hull.

The set, known as "Captain Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship" with set number 10365, is a detailed, large-scale model of the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean. The level of detail put into replicating Captain Jack Sparrow's ride is immense, with rotating dials for deploying the starboard cannons, and a size that measures almost 13 inches tall and 9 inches wide.

The developer of this official set is LEGO itself, making it part of the LEGO Icons universe. For LEGO Insiders, the set will be available a day early on September 12.

Interestingly, the set's official name seems a bit odd, as it could have been called the Black Pearl. However, this doesn't detract from the set's appeal, as it is undoubtedly the biggest set in the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

In addition to the Captain Jack Sparrow's Pirate Ship, the LEGO Group has also released other sets recently. The LEGO Ideas division has launched a set called the Black Pearl MOC, and they have even released a collectors' edition of Hogsmeade Village. The Group has also unveiled a fan-made submission of the Goblin Stadium.

Each of these sets promises to elevate the look of any geek den or pop culture-inspired living room shelf, making LEGO a go-to choice for collectors and fans alike. With the LEGO Group releasing new sets almost every third day, there's no shortage of exciting new releases to look forward to.
