The 57th Pestalozzi Park Festival Returns for a Fourth Year

The much-anticipated 57th Pestalozzi Park Festival is set to take place in Halle, Germany, from Friday, September 5th, to Sunday, September 7th. This year marks the fourth consecutive year that the festival has been held in the park area of Pestalozzi Park, near the former Tallin.

Organised by the "Pestalozzi Park Festival" association and the Children and Youth House Association, the festival promises a thrilling three-day event filled with fun activities, music, and cultural experiences for all ages.

One of the highlights of the festival will be the skate park in Pestalozzi Park, which will be transformed into an event area specifically for young people. Actors of youth work, the municipal street work, and the young people themselves will be using the skate park to showcase their skills and talents.

In addition to the skate park events, the festival will feature a variety of activities designed to engage and entertain visitors of all ages. The festival's information and program can be found here.

A tradition during the festival is the visit by Egbert Geier, the Mayor of Halle, who is scheduled to visit the festival on Saturday, September 6th, at 2:30 PM. This visit by the Mayor is a testament to the importance of the festival in the community and its role in bringing people together.

Many partners and actors in Halle's south are involved in the organization of the festival, ensuring that it is a true community event. The festival before 2020 was organised by the Pestalozzi International Foundation.

During the festival, there will be events specifically for young people, including music performances, workshops, and activities designed to engage and entertain. The festival is a great opportunity for young people to come together, have fun, and showcase their talents.

So, mark your calendars and join us at the 57th Pestalozzi Park Festival for a weekend of fun, music, and community spirit!
