Member States' labor laws concerning ionizing radiation worker protection are being harmonized through a proposed directive endorsed by the Commission.

The Council for People with Disabilities has set the thematic focus "We're breaking down barriers" for the allocation of grants this year. Applications for projects under this thematic focus, or topics such as social participation, accessibility, or an inclusive society, must be submitted by October 31, 2024. Applications for projects under 500 euros in the fourth quarter (October to December) must be submitted by September 30, 2024.

For projects starting or planned in December, applications are only possible from 500 euros. Applications for projects under 500 euros in the fourth quarter are primarily intended for local community groups and civil society organizations working on social inclusion themes.
