In the picturesque town of Ehrenkirchen near Freiburg, Germany, the logistics service provider Karldischinger Logistikdienstleister continues to make waves in the transportation industry. With a rich history dating back to 1879, the company has come a long way since its inception, and its relationship with Mercedes-Benz Trucks spans over a century.

Karldischinger Logistikdienstleister operates more than 160,000 square meters of logistics space and boasts a fleet of around 120 trucks, mostly of the Mercedes-Benz brand. Mercedes-Benz Trucks and its logistics partners aim to achieve locally emission-free inbound logistics for the Woฬˆrth assembly plant by the end of 2026. In line with this goal, a letter of intent (LOI) has been signed for the delivery of 100 zero-emission trucks over the next five years. These zero-emission trucks could be both battery-electric and hydrogen-powered trucks.

The partnership between Karldischinger Logistikdienstleister and Mercedes-Benz Trucks has been praised by industry leaders. Juฬˆrgen Distl, Head of Operations at Mercedes-Benz Trucks, acknowledged the logistics service provider's reliability and innovative spirit in the transport industry. Christian Wilz, CEO of Mercedes-Benz Trucks & FUSO Germany, expressed his pleasure about the partnership, noting the company's commitment to sustainability and innovation.

Karldischinger Logistikdienstleister also plays a significant role in nurturing the next generation of logistics professionals. The company trains around 150 young people in 15 professions, ensuring a steady stream of talent to drive the company forward in the future.

As Karldischinger Logistikdienstleister looks to the future, it remains committed to its core values of safety, reliability, and innovation. With the adoption of electric and zero-emission trucks, the company is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also setting a strong example for other logistics providers in the industry.
