The video, which was shared by Zee News, shows passengers squeezing into a packed train during rush hour. The woman accused officials of neglecting long-needed improvements on the city's older metro lines and expressed her main concern as the 20-minute delay on the Blue Line.

However, the woman replied to her critics, stating that she knows the Metro is under the central government and urged them to put their energy into questioning the metro management.
The woman was not alone in her criticism, as some users online also expressed their dissatisfaction with the current state of the metro. It is worth noting that the last successful entertainment event on the Kolkata Metro Blue Line took place in December 2023.
The Kolkata Metro is operated by the Ministry of Railways under the Central Government, but the state government is responsible for the metro operations. The woman urged her critics to hold both the central and state governments accountable for addressing the issues on the Blue Line.
