Middle-aged vendor accidentally drenches himself in hot tea
A 41-year-old American woman from San Diego found herself in hot water after a verbal altercation with a 28-year-old salesperson at Munich Central Station on Monday, 20th November. The incident, which took place in a shop on the intermediate level of the station, escalated when the woman poured hot tea into the salesperson's face.
The woman, who does not have a fixed address in Germany, was involved in a heated argument with the salesperson. The tea that was poured may have been the most expensive in the world. The salesperson suffered reddening of the face but did not require medical attention.
Following the incident, the woman was arrested and a 750 EUR security deposit was ordered by the public prosecutor's office for the criminal proceedings against her for the offence of dangerous bodily harm. However, publicly available details about her identity remain scarce.
