Moldova's Business Event of 2025

Moldova is gearing up for its tenth edition of the Moldova Business Week (MBW25), scheduled to take place from October 7 to October 11, 2025. This leading economic forum aims to showcase Moldova's commitment to international economic cooperation and its strategic direction towards building a sustainable, digital, and regionally integrated economy.

The event, which will also take place in various regions across Moldova, will be presided over by Vladimir Cuc, the new Director of the Invest Moldova Agency. The theme for MBW25 is "Moldova is Open for Business," reflecting the country's readiness to play an active role in the regional economy.

Moody's and Fitch, two international rating agencies, have reaffirmed Moldova's sovereign ratings with a stable outlook. This decision reflects investor confidence and the country's economic resilience. The flat tax rate of seven percent, guaranteed by law until 2035 in the Moldova IT Park, is another incentive for businesses to consider investing in the country.

Moldova positions itself as a regional logistics hub, contributing to the reconstruction of Ukraine through infrastructure, logistics, and the production of construction materials. The country's strategic direction is also evident in its rapid growth in IT exports, which have increased more than fivefold between 2018 and 2024.

The forum places special emphasis on four strategic pillars, including the State Aid Scheme for Industrialisation. This scheme offers state assistance of up to 60% of the total investment amount for six strategic sectors. The State Aid Scheme for Industrialisation is one of the ways Moldova is working towards attracting foreign investment and boosting its industrial sector.

MBW25 aims to highlight Moldova's ongoing commitment to international economic cooperation. The event's program includes B2B sessions, thematic panels, investor and exporter success stories, field visits, and a strong focus on networking and business development.

Moldova ranks among the top 20 global producers and exporters of apples, apricots, plums, and wine. In 2024, 1.3 percent of all cars produced globally included components made in Moldova. The British company William Russell named Moldova the most promising real estate investment destination in Europe for 2025.

Infrastructure and Renewable Energy Investments are another focus area for Moldova. These investments aim to strengthen energy independence, diversify supply sources, ensure direct energy integration with the EU, and accelerate the transition to green energy.

Natalia Bejan, the outgoing Director of the Invest Moldova Agency, stated that Moldova will demonstrate its readiness to play an active role in the regional economy. Registration for Moldova Business Week is now open at the official website. Join us in Chisinau and other regions across Moldova to be a part of this exciting economic event.
