Momentous Milestones Revealed: Guinness World Records Spectacle
On August 29 and 30, 2025, viewers can tune in to SAT.1 and Joyn for an exciting two-day event, "Guinness World Records - The Great Show of World Records," hosted by Michelle Hunziker and Jörg Pilawa. This show promises to be a thrilling spectacle, featuring a total of 19 record attempts.
One of the most anticipated record attempts is by Tom Buxbaum, who will strive to set a new record for the most stunt scooter tricks, or "flairs," in one minute. If successful, he will surpass the current record held by Muhammed Ibrahim from Pakistan.
In a different domain, Orell Herzog aims to break Ibrahim's record, but in a more physical challenge. Herzog will attempt to remove at least 46 bottle caps using a karate kick in one minute, hoping to dethrone Ibrahim from the world record books.
Lars Christiansen will put his knowledge to the test by attempting to correctly name the top 100 annual single charts from the last 50 years. Given random placements and years, along with the song title and artist, this record attempt promises to be a mental marathon.
Competitive spirit will also be on display in a straw drinking jumps record attempt by Thore, Lasse Gauch, Ha Van Duc, Philipp Adams, Jens Glaser, and Philipp Kausch. The record for the most straw jumps in one minute is up for grabs in this entertaining challenge.
Physical prowess will be showcased once again by Matthias Schlitte, who will attempt to set a record for 24-hour arm wrestling matches.
Siegfried Unterpertinger, Hermann Lanthaler, and Gerhard Kohlgruber will attempt to break the world record by drinking and stacking the most beer mugs with their mouths in three minutes.
Agility and speed will be on display as Florian Hägele and Severin Bühler attempt to climb an eight-meter-high log using the springboard technique as fast as possible for a Guinness World Record.
The basketball court will be the stage for Daniel Schmidt and René Casselly, who will attempt to set a record for the longest basketball slam dunk using a trampoline.
Nature knowledge will be tested by Thomas Weigel, who will attempt to identify the most tree species in three minutes by licking the bark.
Jürgen Müller will aim to perform as many blindfolded Laché jumps, leaping from bar to bar, at a height of ten meters.
Sina Ruppenthal will attempt to break the record for lifting and throwing ten men in under 39.50 seconds.
Nina Windmüller will attempt to catch a football from a drone dropped from a height of over 38.924 meters.
Bettina Dorfmann will attempt to identify as many Barbie dolls as possible by feeling them alone in three minutes.
Christian Schäfer will attempt to remember 200 phone numbers from the audience within two hours on SAT.1.
Mauricio Farias da Silva will attempt to type a SMS on a mobile phone during a headspin in under 56.65 seconds.
Soledad Sichert, a water sommelier, will attempt to identify the most mineral waters in three minutes solely by taste.
In addition to these record attempts, the audience will have the opportunity to vote for an extra record attempt during the show.
Lastly, Nicolle Müller with her Chihuahua Juju will attempt to knock over as many bottles as possible in a row using its paw in one minute.
This spectacular event is sure to entertain and inspire, showcasing the incredible feats that humans are capable of achieving. Tune in to SAT.1 and Joyn this weekend to witness the Great Show of World Records!
