Motorcycle Accident Leaves Rider Severely Hurt
A 16-year-old motorcycle rider was involved in an accident on Wednesday evening near the towns of Kembach and Dertingen. The young rider was riding a 125cc Yamaha when he lost control of the vehicle, hit a curb, and collided with a traffic sign.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle rider suffered a leg fracture and was airlifted to a nearby hospital by helicopter. Emergency services were quickly on the scene, and the injured youth was found lying on the roadside grass.
