In the heart of Venice, the curtain rose on a new cinematic adventure as Kevin Spacey unveiled his directorial comeback, "Holiguards Saga-The Portal of Force." This epic film marks Spacey's first foray into film direction since 2004.

The storyline follows an epic conflict between the Holiguards and the Statiguards, setting the stage for a thrilling journey. Spacey, alongside actors Dolph Lundgren, Mel Gibson, and Cate Roberts, bring the characters to life in this first chapter of a planned trilogy.

Meanwhile, outside the glamour of the Venice Film Festival, news of a different kind emerged. Vladimir Okhotnikov, co-founder of Ethereum DeFi app Forsage, faces U.S. fraud charges related to an alleged $300 million crypto Ponzi scheme. Okhotnikov, who resides in Dubai, outside of U.S. jurisdiction, has denied these claims.

The Department of Justice alleges that Forsage hinged on smart contracts on Ethereum, Tron, and BNB Chain to divert funds from new investors to earlier ones. The SEC sued Forsage's founders, including Okhotnikov, in 2022 for defrauding investors, with over 80% reportedly losing money in the project. No court date has yet been set for Okhotnikov's criminal case.

In a surprising twist, Okhotnikov has turned his focus to a metaverse wellness startup, Holiverse, after the fraud allegations. The film, written by Okhotnikov, reflects his libertarian worldview and examines the struggle between conformity and freedom.

Despite the legal issues, "The Portal of Force" promises an enthralling cinematic experience, while Okhotnikov's future remains uncertain as he navigates the challenges ahead.
