Movie Venture: Feature Film "Assassinating Satoshi" Starring Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson

In the world of film, Ryan Kavanaugh's production company, Proxima Film Finance, in collaboration with Aperture Media Partners, is set to produce an intriguing new project titled "Killing Satoshi." This production is being overseen by The Production Lens, a UK-based production services company.

The film is slated to begin production in October this year, with a planned release date in 2026. Doug Liman, renowned for his work on "The Bourne Identity," "Mr. & Mrs. Smith," and "Swingers," will be directing this highly-anticipated production.

"Killing Satoshi" is a conspiracy thriller that delves into the creation of Bitcoin and the enigma of its mysterious creator, Satoshi Nakamoto. The film follows an elite cabal's efforts to prevent the truth about Satoshi Nakamoto's identity from surfacing.

Satoshi Nakamoto, who disappeared from the internet in 2011, is believed to hold approximately 1.1 million BTC, worth approximately $122 billion in today's prices. Despite numerous documentaries, the identity of Satoshi Nakamoto remains a mystery.

The screenplay for "Killing Satoshi" was written by Nick Schenk, who previously collaborated with Clint Eastwood on "Gran Torino" and "The Mule." The film stars Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson.

Ryan Kavanaugh, the former CEO of Relativity Media, is producing "Killing Satoshi." Kavanaugh has a notable history in the film industry, having produced films such as "The Social Network" and "The Fighter" before his studio filed for bankruptcy in 2015.

In a statement, Kavanaugh described "Killing Satoshi" as an examination of Bitcoin similar to "The Social Network" and its examination of Facebook. He plans to launch a token called Proxicoin to help fund film projects.

"Killing Satoshi" aims to put a dramatic spin on the creation and impact of Bitcoin, a digital currency that launched in 2009 and birthed the nearly $4 trillion crypto industry. The film is poised to offer an engaging and suspenseful exploration of one of the most intriguing mysteries in the digital age.
