We Out Here Festival: A Holistic Experience in Dorset

The We Out Here festival, nestled in the beautiful countryside of Dorset, offers more than just music. This event aims to cater to a diverse audience, providing transformative experiences that are both accessible and commanding loyalty in a saturated market.

In line with the growing demand for personalised experiences, the festival partners with organisations like blink Mental Health to offer free one-on-one therapy sessions. However, the specific organisation partnered with We Out Here between summer 2021 and summer 2022, as well as the number of therapy sessions provided, remains undisclosed.

We Out Here encourages festival-goers to disconnect from the digital world, offering limited wifi access. This move aligns with the preferences of Gen Z and Millennials, identified by Mintel as the core audience for live music, seeking premium, personalised experiences.

The festival's focus on wellbeing extends beyond mental health. On-Rotation, the festival's new restaurant, features guest chefs across four days, showcasing a hyperlocal philosophy in their dishes. Affordable, wholesome food options are also available at vendors like Club Mexicana, Chicken Bandits, and Blue Moon Cafe, for a set price of £6.50.

For those seeking a more physical challenge, early bodyweight circuit sessions are available, followed by the opportunity to dance into the night. For those seeking relaxation, the Wandering Wild Spa offers hour-long sessions for £40 per person, including exclusive access to hot tubs, steam sauna, cold plunge, and changing facilities.

Community Sauna, a not-for-profit organisation, offers sauna and cold plunge therapy across six London locations. For a unique Russian banya experience, Go Banya offers contrast therapy, including the Parenie treatment, and traditional Russian dishes.

The Body Lab in Kensington combines luxury private gym facilities with advanced treatments like acupuncture, Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, and infrared sauna sessions with red-light therapy.

The festival's Wellness Programmer, Frankie, emphasises the importance of community, care, and reciprocity in the festival. This is reflected in the Knowledge area, where interactive workshops and artist talks explore the intersection of music and wellbeing. Ixta Belfrage's Saturday lunchtime sitting offered an entirely gluten-free menu, previewing recipes from forthcoming book FUSÃO.

The wellness market is expected to be worth over £3.5 billion by 2024, according to the Global Wellness Institute, representing a 26% increase from pre-Covid levels. With its holistic approach to festival-going, We Out Here is undoubtedly at the forefront of this trend.

In a world where festivals are increasingly offering wellness experiences, We Out Here stands out for its commitment to mental health, physical wellbeing, and community. Whether you're seeking a digital detox, a therapeutic session, or a gluten-free meal, We Out Here has something for everyone.
