N26's Co-Founder, Valentin Stalf, Announces Departure as CEO and Shifts Role to Supervisory Board Position
Worldline, a leading French payment services provider, has announced the appointment of Anika Grant as the new Chief People Officer and a member of the Executive Committee, effective from September 1. The appointment comes following the departure of Florence Gallois, who is leaving the company to pursue new career opportunities.
Grant brings over 30 years of experience in the field of human resources to Worldline. She began her career at Accenture as a consultant and held various HR leadership roles before being appointed as the Chief People Officer at Worldline. Prior to this, she held senior global HR positions at Dyson and Uber, where she played a significant role in leadership and cultural change, particularly at Uber in the period leading up to and following the company's initial public offering.
Most recently, Grant served as the Chief People Officer at Ubisoft, where she oversaw significant changes within the company and led the transformation of its HR function. At Dyson, she managed an operating model transformation, and after her time at Ubisoft, she advised multinational organisations on strategic HR, workforce transformation, and culture.
Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, Chief Executive Officer of Worldline, expressed his pleasure at Grant's appointment, highlighting her extensive experience in human resources and organisational transformation. Anika Grant holds a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of New South Wales and is fluent in both English and French.
Gallois, the former Chief People Officer at Worldline, has driven the company's People strategy, strengthened the HR team, and modernised processes during her tenure. She leaves Worldline to pursue opportunities outside the company. No further information about the reasons for her departure or the nature of the changes Worldline is undertaking has been provided.
Grant will be based in Paris and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. An Australian national, Grant has worked in Sydney, London, Singapore, and Paris throughout her career.
Worldline, which provides a wide range of services in the fields of payment and transactional services, is poised for continued growth and innovation under Grant's leadership. Grant's appointment is a significant step in Worldline's ongoing efforts to attract and retain top talent to drive its success.
