Worldline Appoints Anika Grant as New Chief People Officer

Worldline, a leading French payment services provider, has announced the appointment of Anika Grant as the company's new Chief People Officer (CPO) and a member of the Executive Committee, effective September 1.

Grant, an Australian national with over 30 years of experience in human resources and organisational transformation, brings a wealth of expertise to Worldline. She has held senior global HR positions at Dyson, Uber, and most recently, Ubisoft.

At Ubisoft, Grant oversaw significant changes within the company and led the transformation of its HR function. Prior to this, she managed an operating model transformation at Dyson. Her extensive experience in HR transformations within major international companies has not gone unnoticed. Pierre-Antoine Vacheron, Chief Executive Officer of Worldline, expressed his appreciation for Grant's proven track record.

Before joining Worldline, Grant held several senior leadership positions at Accenture, where she started as a consultant and later moved into various HR leadership roles. She held HR Director roles for a European region at Accenture, covering France, Benelux, and Mauritius, and led a global Centre of Expertise in Talent Strategy.

Grant's appointment is seen as uniquely positioning her to guide Worldline through the profound changes it is undertaking. She is fluent in both English and French, which will be beneficial in navigating the company's global operations.

Florence Gallois, the former CPO at Worldline, has driven the company's People strategy, strengthened the HR team, and modernized its processes. Gallois is leaving Worldline to pursue new career opportunities outside the company.

Grant will be based in Paris and will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer. She holds a degree in Business Information Technology from the University of New South Wales and has worked in Sydney, London, Singapore, and Paris throughout her career.

Since 2019, Grant has served as a board adviser. After leaving Ubisoft, she has advised multinational organisations on strategic HR, workforce transformation, and culture. At Uber, she played a role in leadership and cultural change in the period leading up to and following the company's initial public offering.

Worldline's new CPO is looking forward to joining the company and working closely with the Executive Committee to drive the company's People strategy and support its growth.
