National Socialist Display Held at Police Station in Rhine-Erft District: Report by Polish Police (250902-4)
The exhibition "Some were neighbors" is currently on display at the central police building in Bergheim-Zieverich, hosted by the Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police as part of its commitment to education and understanding of democratic values.
County Administrator Frank Rock visited the exhibition on Tuesday afternoon, September 2nd, accompanied by students of the vocational college Bergheim. During his visit, Rock expressed his delight that young people have the opportunity to learn about the past at the police, stating that understanding past actions is essential for the protection and active shaping of democracy.
The exhibition, organized by the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, focuses on National Socialism and serves as an educational resource for students to learn about extremism prevention and democratic values. Several school classes have already visited the exhibition, and on the last day of the exhibition, the county administrator will accompany a vocational school class from Bergheim during a one-hour guided tour.
Frank Rock believes that learning about the importance of democratic values at an early age increases the likelihood of defending and strengthening them in the future. The Rhein-Erft-Kreis Police Press and Public Relations can be contacted for press inquiries. For more information, visit the news aktuell platform.
The exhibition is open to young people, in addition to police officers, and is a valuable resource for those wishing to learn more about the historical context of democracy and its importance in today's society. Don't miss this opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the past and the role it plays in shaping our future.
