Netherlands' Signature Floral Artwork Unveiled for World Cup 3 Competition
The World Cup Floral Art 2025 is set to captivate audiences at World Forum The Hague, an international conference and event venue, from August 28 to August 31, 2025. This prestigious competition, organised by VBW, the Florist Association in Holland, and Florint, brings together talented floral designers from around the world to showcase their creativity and skills.
Task 3 of the competition, which took place at the event, featured 23 unique floral designs, each created by a skilled and extremely talented artist. The theme for this task was "Nederland Waterland" (The Netherlands as the Land of Water), requiring designs to bring the feeling of water and the beach.
Among the participants were Chantal Post from Belgium, Irati Tamarit from Spain, Marina Bulatova (assistant of Arman Voskanyan) from Armenia, Claudia Tararache from Romania, and Jenny Ingrum who won the task from the United States. Other notable participants included Hiroto Inoue from Japan, Do Hyun Lee from the Republic of Korea, Rudi Casati from Italy, Frédéric Dupré from France, Christopher Ernst from Germany, Tomasz 'Max' Kuczyński from Poland, Franka Roenhorst from the Netherlands, Karmen Kovač Resnik from Slovenia, Christian Ulrich from Switzerland, and many more.
Designers were given 90 minutes to complete their designs for Task 3. They could bring their own framework, but a constructed prop was provided. The botanical materials needed for the designs had to be at least 50% placed into Oasis Bio Floral Foam, and the finished designs had to last for 4 days and not exceed 47 inches x 47 inches wide and 74 inches tall.
The organisers provided all the botanical materials as a surprise package, and after completion, the designs had to be moved for the judges to judge without knowing who made the design. The competition was a testament to the creativity, skill, and quick thinking of the participating designers.
The World Cup Floral Art 2025 offers exclusive branding opportunities, allowing organisers to transform the entire building into their own look and feel. This year, the flowers for the designs were sponsored by Marginpar.
The competition is eagerly awaited by floral enthusiasts worldwide, and with the diverse range of participants and the challenging themes, it promises to be a spectacular event. Don't miss out on this floral extravaganza in The Hague, Netherlands, in 2025!
