Neusser Fair Should Not Distribute "Lunar Awards"
Neuss Fair Remains Optimistic Despite Challenges
The Neuss fair, one of the largest outdoor events in the city, is gearing up for another exciting season. Despite concerns about the heat and rising costs, organisers remain optimistic about the fair's operation.
Jupp Kremer, a showman in Rhein-Kreis Neuss, is making a concerted effort to prevent "rip-off prices" at the fair. He aims to keep the price of a fried fish at the fair below 7.50 euros, as he recognises the impact of high prices on fairgoers.
Ralf Weyers, the long-time fairground architect responsible for designing the architecture of the Neuss Marksmen's Festival for this year, has made significant efforts for this year's event. Visitors can look forward to the Jupiter Ferris wheel, Apollo 13, the Conga giant swing, and many more rides.
The fair coincides with the Volksfest Congress, attracting place managers from all over Germany. This year, around 300 showmen will participate, similar to previous years.
Jupp Kremer remains optimistic about the fair season, despite the challenges. He assures fairgoers that they will not be disappointed, as some operators might choose not to travel due to high fuel prices.
To combat health issues related to the heat, water stations will be set up throughout the fairgrounds. Fairgoers can ask any vendor for a glass of cold water if needed.
The Neuss shooting festival is a significant event for the showmen, and they are working to ensure its smooth operation. Jupp Kremer hopes for good weather during the fair, preferably around 24 degrees.
However, the high prices of energy, gas, and food are putting pressure on fairground operators in Rhein-Kreis Neuss. Propane gas prices are significantly high, and Jupp Kremer believes suppliers are profiting excessively.
Despite these challenges, Jupp Kremer has noticed that fairgoers have become more responsible in recent months, taking precautions to keep their distance. Older visitors are choosing to stay outside rather than going into the tents at the fair.
Despite the concerns, the Neuss fair promises to be an exciting event, filled with rides, food, and entertainment for all ages. So, mark your calendars and get ready for an unforgettable experience at the Neuss fair.
