Apple Unveils New Lineup of Wearables: Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Updated Apple Watch SE
Apple has announced the launch of its latest lineup of wearables, including the Apple Watch Series 11, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and an updated Apple Watch SE.
The Apple Watch Series 11 comes with new features for heart and sleep monitoring. It features a brighter screen and a more durable design with an ionX crystal and a customized ceramic layer. The updated sensor in the Series 11 helps detect hypertension, with new notifications alerting users if their blood pressure readings are high. The Series 11 also runs on the WatchOS 26 operating system with the Liquid Glass interface and includes a modem that enables 5G connectivity.
The Apple Watch Ultra 3 is the largest Apple Watch yet, boasting a massive screen and a host of new features. It offers up to 42 hours of autonomy and includes a training companion that uses Apple Intelligence to motivate users with voice feedback. The Ultra 3 also features 5G connectivity and satellite connection, making it ideal for outdoor activities and remote locations.
The Apple Watch SE includes an always-on display and gesture support, along with a battery that lasts a full day and supports fast charging. New features for hypertension detection and sleep monitoring notifications on the Apple Watch SE will be available starting today, September 2025, in Germany and other countries where Apple Intelligence-compatible devices with iOS 26, iPadOS 26, macOS Tahoe 26, watchOS 26, and visionOS 26 are supported.
Apple has also unveiled the AirPods Pro 3, which offers up to 8 hours of autonomy with noise cancellation, and up to 10 hours in transparency mode. The AirPods Pro 3 has been refined for a more ergonomic fit with over 100,000 hours of research. It features a heart rate monitoring capability and offers a spatial audio experience.
The AirPods Pro 3's active noise cancellation technology is up to four times more effective than the first generation, and it is twice as effective as the previous generation. The AirPods Pro 3 also includes a transparency mode that improves voice sound and features real-time translation capabilities with Live Translation.
The AirPods Pro 3 will be priced at $249 and will be available on September 19. With these latest updates, Apple continues to push the boundaries of wearable technology, offering users more features and functionality than ever before.
