Advertising Specialty Institute Launches Idea Center in ESP

The Advertising Specialty Institute (ASI) has introduced a new feature called the Idea Center within its ESP platform. This innovative tool is designed to help distributors find the perfect product for their clients, offering a diverse array of easy-to-read content on the latest product trends and ways to tap into new markets.

Located on ESP's main toolbar, the Idea Center is divided into two main sections: Events and Industries. Each section provides a broad selection of topics, including articles, popular search terms, and short videos. Clicking on a topic thumbnail opens the information page, where distributors can find trend stories on specific topics like women's World Cup branded merchandise, promo markets to target, and branded items popular during the Winter Olympics.

The Idea Center's information page is designed for ease of use. Clicking on the topic video loads more information about the topic or narrows the search by clicking on a subcategory. If a distributor clicks on an article written by a member of ASI's award-winning editorial team, the article is loaded within ESP. Each event and industry in the Idea Center comes with an overview video that uses stats from ASI magazine stories to illustrate a broad summary of the topic.

Bob DeFord, ASI's senior vice president of distributor sales and marketing, commented on the Idea Center, stating, "The Idea Center offers a diverse array of easy-to-read content on the latest product trends and ways to tap into new markets." He continued, "It's a page where distributors can find inspiration for promotions or events."

The Idea Center is refreshed quarterly to ensure that the content remains up-to-date and relevant. Additionally, the Idea Center will be updated with new markets to target. Clicking on a video plays it in a pop-up window, making it easy for distributors to access the content without leaving ESP.

In the past decade, ASI magazines have been honored with over 200 journalism awards and remain the only industry publications to ever win a national Jesse H. Neal Award.
