Night of youth culture in Euskirchen
In the heart of North Rhine-Westphalia, the city of Euskirchen is set to participate in the nachtfrequenz25 - Youth Culture Night NRW on September 27 and 28, 2025. This event, supported by the Landesvereinigung kulturelle Jugendarbeit NRW e.V. and the Ministry for Children, Youth, Family, Equality, Refugees and Integration of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, promises a diverse, free program for young people aged 14 and above.
On both days, the city center will be bustling with activities. The Tambourcorps Oberwichterich stand, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, invites those interested in making music to join in. For the more adventurous, an interactive escape room, a quiz, archery, and boxing under professional guidance are among the activities available at the Youth Villa.
For those with a passion for dance, the "Move your Story" dance workshop, a part of the Youth Culture Night NRW event, takes place on September 28, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Annostraße 31 in Euskirchen-Frauenberg. Registration is required by September 22, 2025, and the workshop is free, organized by the city of Euskirchen in collaboration with the Caritas Association for the Dekanate Euskirchen and the "Kurve kriegen" initiative.
The artistic side of the weekend is not left out either. A mini-concert series featuring local young artists from around Euskirchen will start around 2:30 PM at the Old Market on both days. The series continues on September 28.
For those interested in photography, a "Double Exposure" workshop will be held on September 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, at "Simons Glück" in Kapellenstraße 35. Registration is required.
Skateboarding enthusiasts can look forward to a workshop on September 27, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, at the new skate park at Georgstraße. Registration is also required for this event.
