Nine individuals, suspected to be part of the CJNG, are apprehended for extortion and narcotics trading across various locations in Edomex.

In a joint operation, the Secretariat of Security and Civil Protection (SSPC), the Mexican Army, the National Guard (GN), the Secretariat of Security (SSEM), and the Mexican State Attorney General's Office (FGJEM) have arrested nine suspected members of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).

The operation, which combined covert surveillance, coordinated patrols, and specific point reviews, aimed to capture the suspects without endangering the population. The detainees could be implicated in various criminal activities, including homicide, extortion, vehicle theft, and health-related crimes.

One of the key figures arrested is Hector Agustin Diaz Velazquez, nicknamed "Cachorro", who is presumed to be the plaza chief of the CJNG. Another major arrest was that of Luis Diego Diaz Barajas, identified as the main financial operator of the cell structure.

Yuliana "N" alias "Yuli" is linked to logistics and internal coordination of the group, while Héctor Alejandro Arenas Mendoza is in charge of modifying and manufacturing weapon parts. Salvador López Rodríguez is responsible for distributing and modifying armament, and Kevin Dariío Marcial Rivera is dedicated to the purchase and sale of weapons.

Several other individuals were arrested, including Santiago de JesĂșs Sandoval Ponce, a retail weapons seller in Nayarit, and Bernardo Enrique Castillo Duarte, in charge of logistics for the network. Fernando Israel Aboytes PĂ©rez is dedicated to the buying and selling of objects for distribution.

Three vehicles and weapons of different calibers were secured during the operations. Bags and packages containing apparent marijuana and cocaine were also seized. Among those arrested, Ruben "N" alias "Tio" (52 years old) is identified as a primary target. Andrea "N" is presumed to be the financial operator, while Juana "N" and Yutlleli "N" could operate directly in the group's activities.

Adily Paola Cañedo Padilla and Javier Othón López Ornelas, known as "Jalisquillo", are also financial operators of the network. López Ornelas is dedicated to the purchase and sale of arms for distribution. David "N" (25 years old), Vania "N", Julio "N" alias "Voltios", and Roberto "N" alias "Grillo" would have supported various criminal operations.

The security forces implemented strategic deployments in several locations, including Coacalco and Melchor Ocampo, and had a simultaneous presence in several colonies such as Villa de las Flores, Fraccionamiento Bosques del Valle, Los Heroes, El Laurel, and the urban complex Alamos III.

The search results do not provide specific names of individuals arrested by the Mexican government in cooperation with other authorities related to illegal arms trafficking attributed to the CJNG. The detainees were served arrest warrants for organized crime and possible arms trafficking.
