NYS Fair Day 11: Today's Highlighted Food Offerings Feature a Swine-Focused Classics and Barbecued Wings
The New York State Fair is gearing up for an action-packed Day 12, with a variety of events scheduled from morning till night. Here's a rundown of what you can expect on Saturday.
The JAMS Funk Fest 2025 will take centre stage at Chevy Court from noon to 8:15 p.m., featuring a lineup of exciting artists. Meanwhile, over at Suburban Park, the group performing in the evening is All Time Low, starting at 8 p.m.
If you're a music lover, you might have missed Yacht Rock Revue at Chevy Court and Dustin Lynch at Suburban Park, but there's still plenty to enjoy. DJ Pauly D kept the crowd dancing late into the night at a separate venue.
Foodies will be delighted to know that Limp Lizard is serving smoked wings at the fair, and the Milk Bar is bringing back strawberry milk on Saturday. For those who prefer a cold beer, the fair's Beer Garden is serving Apricot Wheat beer.
For those planning to attend, parking costs $12 per car, and parking passes can be bought in advance online. However, be aware that parking at Long Branch Park and the fairgrounds lots are near capacity, so it's best to plan ahead.
Remember, pets are not allowed, except for working dogs or those in a competition. Smoking is only allowed outside the gates in a designated area, and alcohol sales end at 10:30 p.m. each day.
As for the weather, Day 12 promises mildly warm weather and clear, sunny skies. So, grab your tickets, pack a cooler with food and non-alcoholic drinks, and get ready for a fun-filled day at the New York State Fair!
