Oberhausen Police Issue Burglary Warning

Over the past week, a series of residential burglaries have been reported in Oberhausen, with a total of six incidents occurring between 21st July 2025. The perpetrator, who remains unknown, ransacked several cabinets and presumably stole valuable items.

One particularly notable case took place on Falkensteinstraße. The unknown perpetrator gained access to the stairwell of a multi-family dwelling in an unknown manner and used an unknown object to force open the door of an apartment. They fled undetected through the main entrance in an unknown direction.

The police are urging all citizens to be vigilant and are available to provide advice, including home visits. If you notice any suspicious persons or situations, please report them to the police immediately via the emergency number 110.
