Online Poker World Series (WSOP) 2022 Dates Officially Revealed
WSOP Online 2022 is set to kick off, offering an exciting festival of online poker tournaments on both GGPoker and WSOP.com. This year's event expands to include Pennsylvania and Michigan, in addition to Nevada, New Jersey, and international territories.
The highlight of the series is the WSOP Online Main Event, hosted by GGPoker with a staggering $20,000,000 prize pool guarantee. The Main Event is a must-play for poker enthusiasts, with a buy-in of $5,000.
Notable poker professional Daniel Negreanu, GGPoker's Global Ambassador and a six-time WSOP gold bracelet winner, has stated that online bracelets are just as prestigious as live tournament bracelets. Negreanu has expressed his intention to add his first WSOP Online bracelet to his impressive collection.
The series will feature 33 bracelet events, with buy-ins ranging from $100 to $10,000. The $777 Lucky 7's tournament is scheduled for Sunday, October 2 in all markets, while the $400 PLOSSUS 6-Max tournament is set for Saturday, September 24 in Nevada and New Jersey only.
Other notable tournaments include the $365 No Limit Hold'em Turbo Deepstack tournament scheduled for Thursday, September 29 in Nevada and New Jersey, the $1,000 WSOP Online Championship on Sunday, October 16 in all markets, and the $10,000 Super High Roller tournament on Tuesday, October 18 in Nevada and New Jersey only.
WSOP Online 2022 will also offer six weekly bracelet tournaments each in Michigan and Pennsylvania. The $500 Big 500 No Limit Hold'em tournament is scheduled for Sunday, October 9 in all markets, and the $500 Monster Stack tournament is set for Sunday, September 11.
Online satellites for all WSOP Online 2022 international bracelet events will run at GGPoker, providing players with affordable pathways to these prestigious tournaments. The festival will run from Aug. 14 - Sept. 27 on GGPoker and Sept. 10 - Oct. 18 on WSOP.com.
