Before the official announcement of the split, Bloom posted a series of thoughts by Swiss psychiatrist and psychotherapist Carl Jung on Instagram, one of which was a reflection on the topic of "loneliness."
Meanwhile, Bloom's ex-wife, Miranda Kerr, confirmed that they maintain a harmonious co-parenting relationship. Kerr made this statement on the "Kyle & Jackie O Show" on a day before the "Today" show aired. She also revealed that she saw Bloom and Perry together on a recent occasion to celebrate their daughter Daisy's birthday. Kerr stated that they are part of a "big, happy family."
