In the heart of Siberia, Yakutia is bustling with a thriving sports culture, particularly within its educational institutions. Three leagues are currently developing, offering a wide range of activities for children: a children's football league, a basketball league, and an intellectual-cybersports league.

This dedication to sports and physical education extends to villages, towns, and small cities across Yakutia. The regional school Spartakiade "Sports of Yakutia", resumed two years ago, has seen over 76,000 children participating this year alone.

The commitment to nurturing young talent doesn't stop there. Forty-four organisations in Yakutia focus on general development programs, teaching 21,242 children. The republican authorities have recognised the efforts of the best coaches, teachers, and physical education teachers, rewarding them with a 100,000 ruble prize for their role in training champions.

Yakutian schools are also actively involved in various Russian projects, such as "Chess in Schools", "Volleyball in Schools", "Mini-Football in Schools", "Basketball in Schools", "Wrestling in Schools", "Sambo in Schools", "Football in Schools", and "Kyokushin in Schools".

Looking ahead, a new program, "Swimming for All", is set to be implemented in the republic of Yakutia. Additionally, 25 institutions in Yakutia provide additional training for a sports team reserve, with 15,671 children aged 5 to 17 participating.

During the summer health campaign, over 2,700 children will rest and participate in training camps. However, the holder of the prize of 100,000 rubles awarded to the best teachers, trainers, and physical education instructors who have trained elite athletes remains unspecified in the available search results.

These events are all part of the federal program "Sports of Russia", demonstrating a nationwide commitment to fostering a healthy and active generation. The vibrant sports culture in Yakutia is a testament to this dedication, providing opportunities for children to grow, learn, and excel in various sports and intellectual activities.
