European Poker Tour Heads to Paris in 2026

Get ready, poker enthusiasts! The European Poker Tour (EPT) is making a grand return to Paris in 2026, promising an unforgettable experience for players from all over the world.

The event, scheduled from February 18 to March 1, 2026, will take place at the prestigious Le Palais des Congrès in the heart of Paris[1][2][3][4]. The festival will feature a mix of high-level tournament play, cash games (details to be released), and the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the city.

The main event of the EPT Paris 2026 will be the PokerStars Open Main Event, running from February 18–23, with a buy-in of €1,650[2][5]. Another exciting event is the PokerStars Open Cup, happening on February 21–22, with a buy-in of €825[2]. At least seven events have been confirmed, including three initial PokerStars Open tournaments that lead into the main festival’s core events[2][5].

The venue, Le Palais des Congrès, offers a spacious, world-class setting with more tables and poker action than ever before. The festival promises elite live poker with a vibrant atmosphere in Paris, combining high-stakes poker with the city’s rich cultural experience[2].

Although the full schedule has not been disclosed yet, it is expected to include the main event, a women's event, and multiple high roller tournaments, similar to the 2026 schedule in Paris[6].

Cédric Billot, Associate Director of Live Events at PokerStars, is thrilled about the return of the European Poker Tour to Paris in 2026. Clemént Martin Saint Léon, Executive VP of Gaming at the Barrière Group, also considers the comeback a highlight for both local and international players[7]. Group Barrière will once again serve as PokerStars' local partner for the event[8].

The EPT Paris 2026 is shaping up to be one of the biggest tournaments in France and the second largest in Europe after Barcelona. With its mix of world-class competition, an iconic venue, and the charm of the French capital, it's no surprise that EPT Paris 2026 is one of the year's must-play poker festivals[9].
