In a series of recent events, the far-right group Weser-Ems Action (WA) has been under the spotlight. According to reports, the group was founded by Marvin D., who began building the network after his release from prison, having served time for two robberies.

The WA group, which is active on social media, particularly Telegram, has over 150 subscribers and posts calls and actions of the Young Nationalists (JN). The group is known for its ideology that opposes the LGBTQ+ community, left-wing activists, and anti-racism supporters.

The police have been actively investigating the WA, seizing items such as knives, machetes, daggers, brass knuckles, telescopic batons, propaganda material, and even swastika flags during raids. During one such raid last week in Bremen, five action members aged 19 to 30 were apprehended.

The WA has been linked to other extremist factions and has been seen participating in marches, such as one in Bremen in an unspecified month. They have also been known to remove banners with political messages and pose with them in front of the Green Party headquarters, showing the White Power greeting.

The group has been vocal about its opposition to events such as the Christopher Street Day (CSD) demonstrations, under the slogan "Our city remains hetero!", and against the NS memory culture with the slogan "Stop the historical lies and anti-German propaganda". Slogans with similar themes have been sprayed on the facades of several school buildings and a playhouse.

Marvin D. and another member, Enrico A., have been associated with the WA and have been spotted at right-wing rallies, such as one in Braunschweig in December 2024. They previously lived in a shared apartment in Kirchlinteln near Verden an der Aller and have the tattoos "Ruhm und Ehre".

The WA is also connected to a group called "Verden Defends". A recent magazine edited by the right-wing hooligan Hendrick Ostendorf, "Ein Fähnlein", was also seized during a raid.

Despite the police raids and the seizure of their materials, the WA seems undeterred, as a recent incident in Bremen showed where scene-related slogans and symbols were sprayed on a school in Oberneuland, including swastikas and the phrase "Heil Hitler".

The police continue to investigate the activities of the Weser-Ems Action and urge anyone with information to come forward.
