Partner Yorizon secures deal with Thold-IT and Kamikon for first collaboration

Yorizon, a joint venture between Thomas-Krenn and Hochtief PPP Solutions, is making strides in the cloud computing industry with its sustainable and locally-focused data center concept. The company aims to construct smaller data centers where computing power is needed, prioritizing sustainable operations.

In a recent announcement, Yorizon has named Thold-IT GmbH as its first Solution Partner and Kamikom, a telecommunications provider from Kiel, as its first Cloud Platform Partner. These strategic partnerships are crucial for Yorizon's managed continuity and managed connectivity services.

Thold-IT GmbH, based in Heiligenhaus, Kreis Mettmann, specializes in managed services, IT security, optimization of IT infrastructure, software development, continuous system hardening against cyber attacks, and business intelligence. According to Thomas Tyroff, CEO of Thold-IT, Yorizon enables them to meet their customers' requirements for digital sovereignty and resilience.

Kamikom, on the other hand, is a provider of cloud-based telephony and communication solutions based in Kiel. The company is driving growth through its partnership with Yorizon, expanding its cloud services with Yorizon's German cloud infrastructure. Kamikom exclusively uses German server locations to provide its customers with reliable services with maximum intercept and failure security.

Yorizon's cloud services are designed holistically for independence, performance, and local proximity, from the open-source hypervisor to the 100% renewable energy concept. The company provides partners with access to high-performance resources, such as for AI solutions. Yorizon's cloud management portal and APIs enable partners to flexibly integrate cloud services into their own services.

Gernot Hofstetter, Co-CEO of Yorizon, states that they support partners in developing scalable, digitally sovereign service packages. Yorizon's cloud services are designed to be offered exclusively through IT service providers, making them an attractive option for software and platform providers, municipal facilities that prefer regional data centers, as well as medium-sized and large companies.

With these new partnerships, Yorizon strengthens its strategy by securing its first Solution Partner and Cloud Platform Partner. Yorizon ensures georedundancy through distributed locations throughout Germany and independent provision of cloud services and edge computing without public internet lines. This concept is crucial for Yorizon's managed continuity and managed connectivity services.

While there is currently no specific information available about the first cloud service provider to partner with Yorizon, it is clear that the company is committed to building a robust network of partners to deliver its sustainable cloud computing and green IT services. Yorizon's partnership with HOCHTIEF PPP Solutions and Thomas-Krenn at the YEXIO data center in Heiligenhaus is a testament to this commitment.
