Isabella Dallar, an 11-year-old girl from the Sverdlovsk region, has received a life-saving bone marrow transplant, thanks to a remarkable fundraising effort.

Born with beta-thalassemia major, a genetic disorder that causes her body to produce insufficient hemoglobin, leading to anemia and oxygen deprivation in her organs and tissues, Isabella's only hope was a bone marrow transplant.

The transplant was necessary to save her life, and the necessary funds were raised through a collaborative effort. The Russian Fund, a charitable organisation, collected donations for Isabella and 66 other children in need, with the help of 39 companies and 7,859 readers and viewers.

The fundraising effort, supported by the charity campaign "Herzenssache e.V." and media partners such as SWR, SR, Sparda-Bank, rusfond.ru, "Kommersant," GTRK "Ural," "Stavropolye," "Yaroslavia," "Mari El," and 131 other regional media partners, has managed to raise a total of 28,344,268 rubles.

This amount, combined with the 1,856,972 rubles previously collected, brings the total funds raised for Isabella's treatment to 29,191,170 rubles.

The funds collected will be used for the necessary reagents and consumables for the transplant, as well as for cleaning the transplant.

Isabella's parents have expressed their gratitude for the help received, and the story was shared on August 29. The source of the story remains rusfond.ru, "Kommersant," and GTRK "Ural" ("Clear the Cells," Yevgenia Vasilyeva).

Since the fundraising effort began, the organisation has raised about 66 million euros and supported nearly 1,600 aid projects. The success of this campaign highlights the power of community support and the difference it can make in the lives of those in need.
